Big (Bow) Deer are Falling Down!

I knew this was setting up to be a big year for big deer, but this is ridiculous already. Heck, the rut is still a good month away, imagine the giants that are gonna get smacked with bow and gun.


Minnesota: Story goes they had hundreds of cam pictures of this monster living in 50 acres of woods. Proves 2 things I’ve blogged a lot: trail cams lead to big bucks, and many big deer live in tiny core areas.

Mississippi : Can you say new state record maybe?
Illinois: Hear it scores 193”, first 08 drop I’ve seen!

Great job men! Hope these hunters will get in touch with me, I’d love to post more on their dream bucks.

Great bucks!

Seen a few nice ones fall in PA already too. In fact, I had a friend shoot a potential Poper on the very first night. I haven't seen it in person, but he tells me it grosses 135. We'll see how it all shakes out in 60 days or so.

That Mississippi buck was killed about 15-20 miles from my place! We've got some big deer up there but I haven't seen one THAT big yet! Geez! What a mule!

Mike, this new site is gonna take some getting used to. anywho, 2 big does down on the ground already in our hunting group. Dawn2Dusk outdoors is getting the video all set up. I LOVE FILMING DEER HUNTS!!! my buddy double lunged one, then she came back and bedded down, so he put another one through he heart. so cool. im gonna try and kill one 2nite. catchya on the flip side

Brian LaRue sent me pics. of the big Minnesota buck yesterday. It was taken very near his home town. Some of you may remember Brian LaRue as the guy who shot the big 222" buck in IOwa two years ago.

Don't know if anyone noticed, or not, but the bottom picture is Illinois' legendary bowhunter, Gave SHaffner (may have mispelled it). This guy has put down tons and tons of giants over the years with stick and string. Congrats buddy!!!
